| Abstract: | A review is given to the corrosion behavior and anodization process of magnesium and its alloys. The electrochemical properties of magnesium and the effect of alloy elements and electrolytes on their corrosion behavior are described in detail. The focus is on the structure & composition of the anodic coatings of magnesium alloys and the progress in microarc oxidation on magnesium. |
