| 摘 要： | 比喻是各种语言中常用的一种修辞手段，在英汉两种语言中都有大量以动物来进行比喻的现象。从动物名称的寓意来比较英汉两种语言的差异有助于掌握更深层的语言含义，更有助于英语学习对英语国家的化进行更广泛的了解。

| Abstract: | Figures of speech are a common means of rhetoric. There are a lot of names of animals used for figures of speech in both English and Chinese. Making comparison on the allegoric applications of animals' names between English and Chinese can not only help master more profound meaning of languages, but also give English learners a better understanding on the culture of English-speaking countries. |
