摘    要:几何多重映射算法能提高地形的绘制效率,以此为基础,采用一些关键技术,例如:对任意大小的地形进行分块,合理计算投影误差,用裙边填补裂缝,剔除不可见地形小块,顶点数组的三角形带等,设计了一种高效率的地形实时绘制算法。基于此算法,结合大幅纹理图的分割映射技术,建立纹理小块和对应地形小块的管理框架,并初步完成了黄果树地区的地形绘制。

Abstract:The GeoMipmapping algorithm can improve the efficiency of the terrain rendering. On this condition, a new algorithm called the GeoMipmapping algorithm with the skirts is designed. The technologies such as the terrain partition of any size, the computation of the projected errors, filling the cracks with the skirts, culling the invisible blocks and the triangle strips of vertex array are adopted. Based on this algorithm, the large textures' partition technology is researched. A framework is established to manage the texture partitions and the corresponding terrain blocks. The real-time rendering of the region around the Huangguoshu Falls is elementarily realized.
