Strengthening Teaching Management to Improve the Quality of Graduates' Diploma Design

Diploma design is a key step to enhance the integrative qualities and the innovative abilities of students.This paper expatiates on the essences and necessities of diploma design,analyzes and summarizes the status quo and the problems based on the real situation at CEE of CQU.From the aspects of scientifically selecting suitable topics,training the teachers,coaching the students in accordance with their aptitudes,developing the new ways of the final year projects,perfecting the process and guaranteeing the quality of the diploma design,some methods are proposed.
