摘    要:商务英语作为一门新生而独特的学科,存在概念的模糊和宽泛、学科属性的开放与不确定等特征。教学中也会因其学科的交叉性而产生诸如语言文化知识教学与商务知识教学、通用英语与专业英语之比重、商务专业知识教学的博通与专精以及“应试”与“应实”教育等一些孪生性问题。要解决这些孪生性矛盾,务必在确立该学科界定的基础上充分考虑其知识的分割性与融合性,正确区分语言文化教学与商务知识传授这对主次矛盾,应加大商务英语语言特点教学比重,放弃学生原已掌握的通用英语基本知识的重复。商务知识的教学应在普及商务基本理论概念的前提下突出某一个或两个商务专业方向,其测试须凸显专业特点,设置该专业的考核管理目标以增强其考核的“应实”能力而非等同于一般语言文学专业考核的“应试”能力。

Abstract:Being a newly emerged and a specific discipline, business English has indefiniteness and confusion in the definition and indefinite disciplinary attributes as well as pluralism of talents cultivation model. Meanwhile, it has twin problems, such as linguistics & culture teaching vs business knowledge teaching, general English teaching vs business English teaching, general business knowledge teaching vs business specialty teaching as well as examination--oriented teaching vs application--oriented teaching. To solve these problems, full consideration should be taken to the fact that business is not only separated from but also mixed together with linguistics. ABC knowledge of general English should not be repeated. The teaching of business English should highlights one or two business specialties. Business English test should be application--oriented rather than being examination--oriented.
