Digital Substation On-site Testing Method and Challenges

Application of new technology in digital substation makes the testing method changed greatly. it requires new device and new mehod in technique, it also need new standards and new model in management. According to the actual testing experience, introduced the testing device and applying method with electronic transformer and relay protection device in the digital substation based on IEC61850 at present. discussed the reliability of the relay protection system, summarized the problem to be solved in the testing process.
