A New Generation Rights Trade Model Aiming at Energy Saving and Loss Reduction

Generation rights trade means much to energy saving and loss reduction of electric power industry. It is necessary to use proper generation rights trade model to lead the trade market to an energy-saving direction. Synthetically considering broker trade model of generation rights trade, its effect on coal consumption of power plants and effect on power transmission loss, the concepts of economic utility, energy consumption utility and transmission loss utility of generation rights trade are put forward, and a new generation rights trade model is proposed based on these concepts. Practical case study shows that this model leads the generation rights trade market to a direction of energy saving and transmission loss reducing with satisfying effect.
