Abstract: | The Wechsler-Bellevue Vocabulary of 3 groups was compared. 1 group had brain injury involving the left side, another had brain injury on the right side, and the third group was judged to be entirely free of cerebral pathology. Scoring was based upon mode of response rather than accuracy. There were no differences found between these groups, a refutation of Pichot's concept of "latent aphasia."
