Social Responsibility of Art Design

"Design" is a social behavior. Designers should bear social responsibilities. Interior function and social impact are the most important issues concerning art design. Modern product design not only affects the product itself, but has spiritual and cultural implications for the entire society as well. Therefore education in art design will have immediate impact on social, cultural and economic development of the country. This article focuses on the social impact of art design, designer training, and issues concerning tertiary education in art design to which possible solutions are also discussed.
