Threat assessment of air combat based on TOPSIS

Threat assessment is an important part of tactical decision in single-fighter to multi-target attacking and cooperative air combat.The determination method of indexes for threat assessment is put forward at first.The calculation steps of Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution(TOPSIS) is described,and an application example is presented.The method is simple in calculation,can carry out calculations on threat assessment and threat sequencing in multi-aircraft air combat.It is an effective approach for dealing with threat assessment issue.
