Progress of High Performance Polymer Powder Coatings

The worldwide progress in the development and application of polymer powder coatings is reviewed.The several research subjects for high performance polymers powder coating are summarized,including developments of the ad- vanced powder coating types such as the climate resistance type,the wear resistance and solid lubricating type and the anti- bacterium type,promotions of the traditional operational properties such as the ornament property and the anti-corrosion prop- erty,and exploitations of the special solidifying technology processes such as the low temperature solidifying,the high rate so- lidifying and the ultraviolet solidifying.The developing tendency of high performance polymer powder coatings is analyzed and discussed.
