Discussion on trend of modern residence development

Based on the statistics dates, and according to the characteristic of the population, family structure, psychological behaviors, environment ecology, the conversion of live style and work style, and the apply of hi-technology application in the future, this article brings forward the trend of development on residences in our country in the 21st century,and the residence will be transforming from "living" to "exhibition", then it summarizes the characters of residence architecture.And it discusses the trend on the standard of use area, the structure and pattern of residence cell in the future, the area of common space such as living-room, the layout and area of the kitchen and toilet, and so on. Finally it gives advices on designing the residence architecture that will satisfy the development of society and family.
