| Abstract: | A high speed semiconductor laser is the key device for Gb/s optical fiber communication systems.In this paper,various factors limiting the speed of semiconductor lasers are analyzed,and techniques for improving the bandwidth of semiconductor lasers are proposed.Further discussions are presented regarding the fabrication of the devices. |
