Stainless steel belongs to common difficult machining metal materials,because of its great toughness,cutting heat is high,the thermal conductivity difference,work hardening serious etc.,to make machining is very difficult.In this paper the characteristics of stainless steel material cutting processing,this paper briefly introduces the types of stainless steel and cutting the characteristic,as well as cutter materials,cutter geometrical parameters,cutting dosage,cooling and lubricating fluid some basic selection method.
