语用等值视角下的中文菜单翻译

摘    要:菜单是展示中华饮食文化的窗口,是服务人员与顾客交流沟通的桥梁,所以给中国菜一个相对统一的英文菜名是一件非常有意义的事。文章以《中文菜单英文译法》中的译例为语料,翻译原则为依据,尝试着以语用等值为视角来探讨中文菜单的英文译法。从而有助于中国饮食文化树立品牌,提升国际形象。

Abstract:A menu is the window to show Chinese cuisine culture and the communication bridge between service men and customers,so it is meaningful to provide a relevant unified English version for Chinese cuisine.This paper takes the examples from Chinese Menu in English Version,bases on the principles of translation and tries to explore the approaches of Chinese-English menu translation from the perspective of pragmatic equivalence.The purpose is to set up Chinese cuisine brand and improve its international image.
