| Abstract: | This paper describes the working principles, structure, field calibration and correction for the surface nuclear moisture-density gauge. It introduces the FT-628 gauge type developed in our country and its applications in the hydraulic and water power engineerings, road and building foundations to control the construction quality. The paper also presents the measuring comparison between the surface nuclear moisture-density gauge and the round knife sample method. |
