| Abstract: | Existing state of cooling water treatment process for a continous cast- ing crystallizer is analyzed. Characteristics of soft water closed circuit, Soft water open cir- cuit and hard water open circuit are compared. Addition of a slow corrodent for scale resis- tant to the hard water open circuit can solve the problem of water quality in a continuous casting crystallizer. It is an economic and effective method. |
