Abstract: | The vibratory mill type as well as the correlation between the grinding bodies' weight and size and the materials being ground have been examined to determine their influence on the particle size and the grinding factor when silicon and titanium carbides were ground in a vertical vibratory mill. It has been shown that the grinding efficiency increases when smaller grinding spheres are used, and that a single sphere impact energy and the probability of particles' segregation reduce the grinding time.Dnepropetrovsk Mining Institute.
