| Abstract: | In this paper, we introduce two mathetmatic models of aerial cable at first. Secondly, analyse the difference between catenary model and parabola model.Then, discuss the influences of these two types of model on the design of special type fiber optical cable for electric power industry,especially on the design of ADSS (All Dielectric Self-supporting) fiber optical cable. |
