| Abstract: | Para-aramid fiber is a high-performance special fiber. It is widely used in the military, civilian and other fields. In the 21st century, the engineering technology of para-aramid fiber has achieved breakthrough, which entered the developing stage of industrialization. The research progress of para-aramid fiber was introduced, the various applications and performance characteristics of para-aramid fiber were described, the situation of supply and demand of para-aramid fiber were investigated. Finally the production difficulty of para-aramid fiber, the present situation and developing prospect about aramid fiber industry in China were discussed. |
