| Abstract: | An investigation is reported in which the changes in various physical and mechanical properties of a range of fabrics made from different fibres after subjection to abrasion in the Accelerotor tester for various periods of time were observed. As expected, abrasion causes disintegration of fibre, yarn, and fabric structures, but differences are found in its effect on the various properties studied between the different fabrics. |
