Abstract:This article summarizes the followings: the principle of PTIMS, the choice of filament materials, graphite influence, the sequence of graphite loaded, the form of sample loaded, the isobaric interference and the form of ion beam collected. At last an outlook was given for the determination of boron isotopic by negative thermal ionization mass spectrometry.
