Study on utilizing cement kiln to handle sludge from sewage treatment plant

The industrial experiment on utiliz ing sludge from sewage treatment pla nt to produce cement clinker was intr oduced.The results show that utilizing the s ludge from sewage treatment plant to substitute for clay can produce good cement clinker,and can wipe out the harmfulness from the heavy metals and putrid organic matt ers in sludge.Using cement kiln to handle municipal wastes is a sustainable developing r oad utilizing resources,saving energy and protecting environment effe ctively.
