| Abstract: | The development in packed tower research till the end of 1991 is briefly reviewed with certain accent to recent investigation and domestic works. The present status of research and results in correlation about the performance of packed bed are presented. With respect to mass transfer, not only important results are included but also the probable cause of wide deviation in correlations by different authors is discussed in some detail |
