| Abstract: | The advantages claimed for multilayer over monobloc pressure vessel are low cost,brittle fracture resistant and crack propagation arrest.The authors give comprehensive comparison between flat steel ribbon wound pressure vessel and integrated wrapped pressure vessel,which have no thick hoop weld joint,from various aspects such as material costs,safety,fabrication costs and end construction. |
