Remote Management System for Metrical Equipment Based on Ethernet and Internet

The management information system for metrical equipment can provide on-line information of the working status of the metrical equipment, documents, the maintenance and diagnosis records, and the technological process. It assures high utilization, integrity and accuracy of the metrical equipment, provides accurate data for enterprise cost accounting, and improves the benefit of the enterprise. The metrical instruments made by different manufacturers use different specialized interfaces and communication protocols. In order to integrate these heterogeneous systems, an embedded metrical operation station is designed by making use of the enterprise local area network. Based on the TCP/IP protocol and Web technology, the metrical operation station can acquire and process the information and realize the remote maintenance and configuration of the metrical equipment.
