| Abstract: | Compaction response diagrams are useful tools for characterizing the powder pressing operation. It is shown that taking the first derivative of the curve contained in a compaction response diagram yields a compaction rate diagram which reveals nuances in the pressing operation. These additional details can be quite important in the design of powder systems. |
