Abstract:Ba2Ti9O20 main phase was prepared using BaCO3 and TiO2 powders as raw materials by solid state reaction method.In order to reduce the sintering temperature of Ba2Ti9O20 ceramic,liquid phase coating process was used to dope B2O3 using H3BO3 solution as precusor.The effects of B2O3 doping on the sintering and dielectric properties of Ba2Ti9O20 ceramic were studied.The results show that liquid phase coating with B2O3 could decrease the sintering temperature of Ba2Ti9O20 ceramic from 1 400 ℃ to 1 250 ℃.When the concentration of H3BO3 sulotion is 1.0 mol/L,a high relative density of 98.3% and good dielectric properties of εr=42,tanδ= 0.002(1 MHz),τf = – 4×10–6/℃(1 MHz) are obtained for the Ba2Ti9O20 ceramic sintered at 1 250 ℃ for 4 h.
