光纤灵巧复合材料研究综述

摘    要:光纤灵巧复合材料是近年新发展起来的一种新型智能材料及构件,它具有自我诊断和自我适应等多种智能功能,是21世纪重点研究和发展的新型材料,本文主要介绍这种材料的基本概念,研究内容,发展动态以及应用前景。

Abstract:Fiber optic smart material will become the important research area of the newmaterial in 21th century. The matrix materials are likely to be those made of epoxy, polyimide,carbon and ceramics. It is probable that optical fibers for the control of the smart structures can belayed up within the composites and sustain curing of the composites. It may be possible to insert newtype of actuators as well. Fiber optic smart materials offer the potentials to revolutionize compositestructures by offering the means to accurately monitor internal environmental properties of thecomposite materials during manufacture, and provide sensors for ports and subassemblies that will augment nondestructive evaluation techniques, and allow vehicle health monitoring and damageassessment, and enable and augment active structural control systems. The research of the fiber opticsmart materials will promote the developments of the new material, new theory, new technique andnew method, and will engage for the wide range of the applications of the military and industry.
