| Abstract: | The influence of basic characteristics of eight iron ores on properties of sinter was investigated by mini-sintering and sinter pot test. The results show that the tumbler index of sinter rises with the increasing of the strength of bonding phase and crystal strength. The RDI??3. 15 mm of sinter can be improved when liquid phase fluidity and creating ability of calcium ferrite of iron ores increase. The RI of sinter mainly relates to the kinds of iron ores and sintering technological parameters. The sinter RI of magnetite ores rises with the increasing of liquid phase fluidity and creating ability of calcium ferrite but has little relationship with other basic characteristics of iron ores. |
