And the ultimate purpose of foreign language teaching is for students to grasp and use the language as a tool when communicating with others. In vocational higher education,the English classroom instruction, especially the teaching of listening and speaking,should be more practicality-oriented and focus more on the training of students'ability to apply the language knowledge to the practice.
