| Abstract: | Case based
design(CBD)is the application of case based reasoning(CBR)to the design process.By
analyzing the general process of CBR,the barriers to variant design in current CAD
system,and comparing the variant design process to CBR,this paper illustrates that the
CBD system is reasonable for support variant design.Finally the paper discusses the
fundamental techniques of CBD system used in variant design. |
