An asymptotic general model for linear elastic homogeneous anisotropic rods

This paper covers the mathematical justification and generalization of classical anisotropic rod theories using asymptotic analysis as the area of the cross-section tends to zero in the three-dimensional elasticity model after a rescaling in the unknowns and data, together with convergence results.
