| Abstract: | With the global challenge on biodiversity crisis today, urban parks as primary urban habitat for wildlife play a more and more important role in biodiversity conservation. The article proposes the primary implementation approach for promoting biodiversity conservation in urban parks by summarizing related study and practice experience and taking the example of the design and implementation experience from Ecological Exhibition Area landscape design project within 2019 Beijing International Horticultural Expo. The article presents four facets related to the quality of urban habitat in details, which are site assessment, spatial layout planning, habitat promotion design and construction with maintenance management, to provide reference for similar project |
