POSS/PS复合材料的制备及其热性能研究

摘    要:以1,3,5,7,9,11,13-苯基-15-氯丙基笼型倍半硅氧烷(POSS-Cl)与二乙醇胺进行反应,将末端氯基团转化为两个端羟基,通过羟基与2-溴代异丁酰溴的酯化反应得到POSS-(Br)2引发剂,并运用原子转移自由基聚合(ATRP)成功合成了一种新型POSS/PS复合材料。采用傅里叶红外(FTIR)、核磁共振(NMR)等手段对POSS和POSS/PS的结构进行了表征。通过差示扫描量热(DSC)和热失重(TGA)分析对POSS/PS复合材料的热性能进行了研究。结果表明:POSS单元的引入能显著提高聚合物的热稳定性。

Abstract:With 1,3,5,7,9,11,13-heptaphenyl-15-chloropropyl(chlorine propyl) cage silsesquioxane(POSS-Cl) as raw material,the POSS with one chlorine group was transformed to two terminal hydroxyl groups via the reaction of POSS-Cl with diethanolamine,and then the POSS-(Br)2 was obtained by the reaction of terminal hydroxyl with 2-bromoisobutyrylbromide.A novel kind of POSS/PS nano-composites was synthesized by using atom transfer radical polymerization(ATRP).The structure and composition of POSS and POSS/PS composites were characterized by use of fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR).The thermal properties were investigated by means of differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) and thermal gravimetric analysis(TGA).The results show that the thermal stability of POSS/PS composite increases greatly with the addition of POSS units.
