Comparative Study on Liquefaction Discrimination Methods at Home and Abroad

Liquefaction is one of the main causes of foundation instability,and liquefaction discrimination is an effective means to ease earthquake dam-age. The mainstream approach of liquefaction discrimination is quite different from that of other countries. From the perspective of the theoretical basis of discrimination methods,the similarities and differences of these methods are demonstrated, with one case presented to verify the results.
