| Abstract: | By studying College English Teaching Syllabus, by analysing some GET 3 and CET 4 test papers' requirements for vocabulary and the present practice of college English teaching, the author clarifies the significance of teaching vocabulary in college English teaching. Using psychological Chunk Thcory,thc author makes an approach to some ways of teaching vocabulary. |
