Key Points in Design of Direct-Melt Plant Building for Glass Fiber Production

As the essential building in a glass fiber production line, the integrated direct-meh plant building is usually designed in two sections for glass melting and fiber drawing respectively. As required by the production process, their structural layout and performance have some particularities. Through the analysis on the structural systems of these two sections, this article presents the key points involved in their structural design, and proposes some measures accordingly, which can be taken as reference for the structural design of similar industrial plant buildings
