Abstract:
The paper presents an original study of several assembly techniques for textiles. The aim of the investigation is to develop a reliable technology which can be readily adapted to the industrial production of pneumatic muscles and active clothing. The research was carried on by means of several experimental tests using various assembly techniques. The woven choice is linked to the future purposes involved in this study. Results obtained are interesting and useful for various kinds of pneumatic systems.
