Review of Heat Energy Supply System of Steam-driven Jet Heat Pump Applied in Paper Machine

The steam-driven jet heat pump based on thermo-compressor working principle is an energy-saving equipment which can transform low quality heat energy into high quality one. Great quantity of energy and cost is saved for domestic pulp and paper industries by using it. Starting with the analysis of the energy-saving mechanism of steam-driven jet heat pump, the important factors influencing the energy-saving effect of it are illustrated. The differences between mass adjustment jet heat pump and flow adjustment one are discussed. Two kinds of close-loop heat energy supply systems of heat pump which are extensively used in our country are evaluated in detail. Finally several issues which should be considered carefully in design and selection of the heat pump system are discussed.
