An Application of VBA in the Excel 97

This article introduced the strong data process and macro function of Microsoft Excel 97. It discusses why VBA is added to Excell 97, and the way to create Excell 97's macro. As VBA do not offer the control sentence in hardware level such as reading or writing the hardware port and so on. It gave a method of making DLL files and calling DLL files to read the port data in VBA by VC++5.0. It introduced a method to select and display data by using Macro order of Excel 97 directly in order of using the strong data processing function of Excel 97 to process and analyses the data collected. It illustrated the method to make up DLL files in VC++5.0 and how DLL files can be called in VBA. At last it realized the application to collect and display data in Excel 97 by running macro.
