Abstract: | the great progress of wind power technology, make the open and utilization of wind power held the dominant position of the new energy, but because of the uncertainty of the wind resource and operation characteristics of the wind turbine itself to make the output power of wind turbines is fluctuating, unqualified cause for grid power factor, voltage deviation, voltage fluctuation and flicker, voltage reactive power distribution system to bring very great. Considering the characteristics of reactive power output of doubly-fed wind turbine, stability problems exist in the access system of large-capacity wind farms. At the same time, the fluctuation of the system voltage will also affect the normal operation of the fan, and the above problems can be improved by reasonable allocation of reactive power compensation. This article first introduces the basic principle of SVG, control methods, advantages and disadvantages, studies the application of SVG in its voltage reactive power control, discusses the key technology of SVG and closing point, at the same time combined with specific engineering practice this paper introduces the SVG in wind booster stations after the matters needing attention as well as the application of SVG in the design of power grid to improve power quality. |
