Joint Operation Made a New Demand to Sea Battlefield Warning System and Equipment Development

Building a information leading and network-centric joint combat system is an important work of a new modern military capacity building. The navy which is a major force in joint operations, sees increasing joint combat capability as a key requirement in development. Based on the sea battlefield environment and military demand, the characteristics of the information system in the joint operation is described and the weakness of our current system is analyzed. In addition to, the new requirements of the sea battlefield joint operation on the information system are put forward; the direction as well as key points of the development of warning technology and equipment are also clarified.
