As the highest heat load part of the gas-fired glass furnace , the tongue arch has always been the ＂bottleneck＂ of Gas-fired glass furnace. The burning loss of the tongue arch is a direct threat to the life of the furnace. In order to reduce the adverse effects of melting due to the tongue arch, we often need to give the tongue arch a local hot repair or an overall change. The methods described in this paper are worked out through many years of practical experience by a company and is used to joint research with neers.
