| Abstract: | Width matching of the roughing mill and the finishing mill is considered to be the most important issue for newly built heavy plate plants with two mill stands.The paper compares and analyses three different width matching modes combining with the construction background of some heavy plate plants both at home or abroad,and expresses the viewpoint of the authors. |
