Abstract:High-speed counter-current chromatography(HSCCC) and electrospray ionisation mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) were developed for the analysis the ginsenosides in plant, which were extracted from the root of Panax quinquefolium L.. ESI-MS experiment was carried out to aid the identification of three ginsenosides obtained in HSCCC by comparing the molecular weights and fragment ions of the molecular ion with that of the standard. It is a simple and quick analysis technology.
