Spectral diagnostics of complex arc plasma

A spectral diagnostics of complex are plasma using multiple spectral information of arc self-emitting is proposed , This method is able to simultaneously determine component densities , the corresponding temperature and their distributions by a few line intensities measurement. The principle of the method and the relevant measuring system are described. An equation system is established for computation of the state variables in are plasma. An experiment under welding are condition is made as an application of the method. The effects of probable error sources on the measurement are also analysed.
