| Abstract: | A double boom displacement sensor, by which the large deformation of rock at post failure can be measured, has been designed. By means of research on the characteristics of residual strength and deformation of broken rocks using this sensor, the quantitative relationships between residual strength and confining pressure and between residual deformation and confining pressure are obtained. |
