Abstract:Carbon nanotubes(CNT) can improve various kinds of properties of polymeric materials and is considered as one of the most promising modifying agents in this century.The latest achievements on investigating properties(including mechanical properties,electric properties,thermal properties,flame retardant properties and rheological properties,etc) of polymer/CNT nanocomposites(PCNC) obtained in the last five years were summarized in this paper.The relationships between the properties of composites and the loading,quality,dispersion,alignment,and surface chemical modification(functionalization) of CNT were also discussed.In addition,the insight into the unique and excellent properties of this nanocomposites was explored.
