A Survey on Shape Analysis Methods

Shape analysis is an important part of image analysis field. The development of shape analysis methods in recent years was reviewed in this paper. The methods of shape analysis were classified and some typical algorithms in this field were discussed as well as their advantages and disadvantages. At last, the tendency of this direction was also discussed.
